Sharon’s Letter to St Mungo

MCR’s young people have been writing letters to St Mungo, the patron Saint of Glasgow. They want to share their letters with you. They want to show you all that they’ve achieved so far, despite the adversities they’ve faced, using the symbolism of St Mungo’s miracles – the bird that never flew, the tree that never grew, the bell that never rang and the fish that never swam.

“One of my goals is to make my mentor proud, my teachers proud, my friends proud but most of all, my mum. Like I got support, I want to give back. I want to make our world and this city a better place.”

Today, we share Sharon’s letter to St Mungo. You can support inspiring young people like her in 2018. You can give them that voice and help them flourish.

Sharon LetterAs Sharon’s letter to St Mungo shows, our young people have so much talent and potential. They just need a positive, encouraging Glaswegian who can help them flourish.
