YGT has reached a milestone. Over the last academic year we’ve mentored more disadvantaged young people than at any other time. Thanks to our volunteer mentors, hundreds of young people are getting the support they deserve through their education.More young people than ever before will need our help after the summer, as our programme extends even further. They’ll be filled with confidence and ready to take on the world of work, despite the challenges they face. You’ll help them achieve a brighter future.
Over the coming months we’ll be sharing inspired stories from our YGT Weegie Heroes. From our amazing mentors, Pioneering Partners, and our amazing young people. They’re going to help you see why YGT is THE place to volunteer in Glasgow. The place to find yourself. The place to change a life. This city is full of the most incredible, passionate and driven people. Determined to give the young people that live here the support they need to contribute to our thriving society.
And as more young people desperately need our help, more hero mentors than ever before are needed.
