When you’ve had the most unfair start in life, you can lose your way for the rest of your life.
MCR Pathways will work until every young person has someone to help them find their way.
This Volunteers’ Week, and every week, we celebrate the incredible people who give their time to make that vision a reality by showing up, speaking out, and shaping a better future for young people. We couldn’t do it without our volunteer mentors.
Volunteer mentors meet with their young person for just one hour a week in school time, helping them unlock confidence, nurture ambition and ignite potential.
At MCR Pathways, we know that every young person deserves a champion, and we will work until every young person has one. Our work is only possible because of the incredible volunteers who give their time, voices, and leadership:
Our Mentors, who meet a young person for one hour each week and make a lifetime of a difference.
Our Young National Advisory Board, made up of dynamic young leaders who serve as advocates for the interests and concerns of our young people.
Our Trustees, who guide our mission and set the strategic direction of the organisation.
Becoming a mentor doesn’t just change a young person’s life, it changes yours too.
