Proudly supporting the #NoWrongPath Campaign 2025

We’re proud to take part in this year’s #NoWrongPath campaign to raise awareness of a diverse range of career routes and pathways that will always remains open to realising potential, no matter what results day brings.

Launched in 2017, No Wrong Path is a social media movement by Developing the Young Workforce (DYW). It has won awards and offers inspiration and reassurance to young people getting their results. This year, Results Day is on Tuesday, 5th August. But instead of just one day, we invite you to join in anytime during the week of 4th-8th August 2025. This gives you more time to take part in this great campaign.

We know some young people might feel down about their results or situations. Many people in unique jobs across Scotland didn’t follow a straight or traditional path to their roles. There is #NoWrongPath. The campaign wants to show young people there are always options. It highlights that results aren’t always the key to future success.

This year, Exam Results Day falls on Tuesday 5th August and DYW’s #NoWrongPath campaign will run through the week to help spread messages of guidance and encouragement to even more young people.

Receiving exam results can be one of the most pivotal moments of a young person’s life. Young people are often taught that their entire future can hinge on what grades they manage to achieve in their high school exams. However, the #NoWrongPath campaign aims to show them that they are more than just their exam results.

Over the course of the week, MCR Pathways colleagues will share messages of encouragement to young people who may feel disheartened by the results that they receive on Tuesday. We will share our own stories of how we came to work in the roles we’re in now – which for many of us involved many twists and turns along the way!

There’s still time for everyone involved with MCR Pathways to get involved to inspire and reassure young people – from young people, mentors, trustees, partners, and wider supporters.

From Monday 4th – Friday 8th August 2025, tell us your name, what you did when you left school and what you do now. Print out and fill in the #NoWrongPath 2025 template below, and post a photo of you holding it to marketing.comms@mcrpathways.org
