Pathways Coordinator – Ash Manor School

We are looking for a Pathways Coordinator to deliver our award winning programme at Ash Manor School in Surrey. If you are passionate about making a difference and helping to transform the lives of young people in Surrey we'd love to hear from you. The successful candidate will be based in the school, supporting and learning from existing teams. Within this role, you will be an integral part of the school community, liaising with education colleagues and external stakeholders, and delivering the programme to young people.

KEY ASPECTS OF THE ROLE:
- Build exceptional individual relationships with young people across Years 7-13.
- Delivering Year 7 and 8 group mentoring for up to 30 young people.
- Support volunteer (community) recruitment and training alongside our Partnerships and Mentor Services Teams.
- Facilitating up to 50 mentored relationships between young people and their mentors, across Yrs 9 to Yr 13.
- Supporting and empowering volunteer mentors is key. Programme Coordinators will actively engage and motivate the mentors from their initial training throughout their involvement with the programme in school, ensuring quality assurance and promoting best practices at every step.
- Support MCR young people in building self-confidence, developing aspirations, and fulfilling their potential, with their mentors by their side.
- Collate evidence of young people’s progression quantitative data and qualitative evidence, such as young people’s voice and case studies qualitative case studies.

As a member of school staff, you will be required to:
- Follow and promote all school policies with young people, parents and carers.
- Follow the staff code of conduct.
- Report any safeguarding concerns to the school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead.
