BBC Radio Scotland’s Jamie McIvor stopped by our Mitchell Hub to interview MCR young people about the difference mentoring has made in their lives.
Caitlin, William and Sophie were all mentored while they attended secondary school in Glasgow and now are pursuing their own University pathways. They bravely shared their stories on BBC Radio Scotland and shared the impact of mentoring to encourage more people across Scotland to get involved.
Sophie told us, “My mentor was honestly just a really great person altogether. She gave me everything I needed, she listened to me even if I was going in to rant about my pals annoying me that day or whatever. She was there and she listened.”
