About This Questionnaire

Thank you so much for your interest in becoming a mentor! You’re nearly there, we just need to ask you a few questions before your one to one.

Our questionnaire covers three areas: passions (your interests and hobbies), personality (your personality and experiences) and pathways (your career and education) and should take 10-15 minutes. It will allow our MCR Team and school-based Pathways Coordinators to get to know you better and make the best match for you and your mentee.

AM: before 12pm, PM: 12pm – 3pm
Have you lived or worked outside of the UK in the last 5 years for 3 months or more?*
Please check the UK government website for a list of countries and checks.

About Your Personality

We would like to know more about your personality. Simple things like how your friends would describe you, whether you are introverted or extroverted and your approach to decision making can help us make an inspired match.

Thinking about the people who know you best, your family and friends, please select three options below to best reflect how they would describe you.
Please select 3.
We work with young people who have experienced challenging circumstances. Sometimes it can be useful to include shared experiences in a match. If you are uncomfortable with any questions, please skip them. Generally “Some Experience” is best if you have friends or family dealing with this type of situation. “Very Experienced” is if you have direct experience in helping someone or have experienced it yourself.
