Are you someone leaving school in Summer 2025 and want to have your voice heard?

Join our landmark 10-year research study exploring how young people navigate life’s key transitions. Through an annual survey, you’ll share your unique journey—from education and career choices to relationships and personal growth.

Your experiences will help researchers understand the real challenges young people face and identify what support actually works. By participating, you’ll:

Get paid £20 for completing the survey each year. The survey should take about 30 to 45 minutes.

Contribute to evidence-based policies that improve our mentoring and support services. We'll also share resources with you that can help with issues you are facing.

Be entered into a prize draw.
One participant will win £1,000.

Terms & Conditions

How the study will work.

Payment: You'll have the choice of a £20 bank transfer or being sent a £20 voucher to your email address. You'll only be paid if you complete the survey. You'll be paid within one week of completing the survey. In future years, the £20 payment may increase with inflation.

Participation: Only young people who have been invited to participate can participate. Don't share this link with your friends, they won't be allowed to join!

Duration of study: We'll send you the same survey every year for 10 years, on May 1st (the study ends in 2035). We'll use the email address and phone number your provided to get in touch. If your details change, email yourfuture@mcrpathways.org to let us know.

Your details: We'll only contact you about the study or your response to the study. We might contact you with helpful resources, for example.

Prize Draw: We will select the winner randomly from people who completed the survey on July 1st 2025. We will only contact the winner. If you are the winner, we will be in touch to arrange the best way to pay the prize.

Publishing the Results: Each year, we will choose which results to publish from the study. We will never name you.
