Young Glasgow Talent founder, Iain MacRitchie, has been awarded the iconic St Mungo prize.
The award was recognition of Iain’s work. Highlighted, were the statistics regarding the dramatic effect of young people’s well being and educational attainment, thanks to having a volunteer mentor and being part of the YGT programme. Which the St Mungo Prize described as “transformational” to the lives of young people.
Iain was honoured to join an incredible group of previous recipients of the award. Including Sir Patrick Dollan and Lord Macfarlane of Bearsden. “It’s a privilege to be included in that list of people who have made such an impact on Glasgow.”
“I’m also very grateful for the recognition it confers on the team here. I pull together like-minded people, so they get credit for this. I can do nothing on my own”.
