Mentoring Young People in the Highlands

We are pleased the Council have changed their decision to terminate the contracts of the MCR Pathways Coordinators. They have now stated that they are committed to mentoring, although not to MCR Pathways. We are disappointed but your local MCR Highlands team will do whatever is needed to ensure that the 350 young people get the support that we know is transformational.

We would greatly appreciate your feedback on 4 key questions on the future of MCR mentoring in the Highlands. We won’t share any individual comments without explicit consent but will share the consolidated results once we have gathered everyone’s views. We expect that there will be some follow up questions at a future date to ensure that your voice is heard.

Where we refer to the ‘Council’ please do consider this as either the ‘Highland Council’ or its relative ‘High Life Highland’. If there is a difference in how you feel about the High Life relative to the Council please do indicate as such.
