Pathways Coordinator – Christ’s College, Guildford

MCR Pathways is looking for a Student Pathways Coordinator to join the team at Christ's College in Guildford. The successful candidate will be based in the school, supporting and learning from existing teams. Within this role, you will be an integral part of the school community, liaising with education colleagues and external stakeholders, and delivering the programme to young people.

KEY ASPECTS OF THE ROLE:
- Being a point of consistent and accessible support for young people
- Supporting mentor induction, training and development
- Matching 20 and rising to 50 young people in Year 9 to Year 13 with mentor
- Facilitating weekly Group Work in Year 7 and Year 8 for small groups of 8 to 10 young people
- Supporting mentor induction, training and development
- Consistently support and actively engage mentors throughout the length of their mentoring relationships
- Co-deliver Core Mentor Training
- Discussing and agreeing the cohort of young people in programme scope with school links
- Working in close partnership with employers and ‘widening access colleagues’
- Tracking young person progress and reporting on programme impact
- Supporting Talent Tasters (employment & further/higher education experiences) and regional events.
