MCR Pathways is a transformational secondary school mentoring and talent development programme. It supports care-experienced and other vulnerable young people experiencing disadvantage to realise their full potential through education.

MCR’s relationship-based mentoring model has evolved into an integrated programme supporting primary school transition and delivering weekly group work in S1 and S2. Young people from S3 upwards are carefully matched with a volunteer, trained mentor to meet one-to-one on a weekly basis. Young people also have the opportunity to access an offer of employment, college and university experiences. MCR’s programme dramatically improves educational achievement, wellbeing and post-school destinations.

MCR Pathways supports over 3,000 young people from across the country. We are recruiting a Mentor Services Coordinator for our Fife region of the country to manage and engage with our volunteer mentors at different stages of their journey.

The successful candidate will be joining our organisation at a time of exciting growth, where we are launching into new local authorities and developing our programme.

Reporting to our Mentor Services Manager, the successful candidate will have excellent relationship-building skills and communication skills together with administration experience. For this role, you’ll need to be highly organised, have exceptional desktop and database skills and a real attention to detail while multitasking within these areas of the business.
