Herald Recognition for YGT Cultural Tasters

Young Glasgow Talent aims to provide a volunteer mentor for every care experienced and disadvantaged young person in the city. To listen to them. To encourage them.

Having someone there makes THE difference to our young people. It builds their self-esteem, giving them the confidence to find, grow and use their talents.

Thanks to incredible businesses throughout Glasgow, our young people are supported even further. Organisations, large and small, open their doors to our young people. Providing a taste of the working world, in a field each young person would like to work in.

The importance of similar exposure to arts, culture and sport has been emphasised and developed by Young Glasgow Talent recently. You can read more about our Taster coverage in the Herald article below.
